VAPIANO HIRES BRANDSTAND MARKETING
Washington, D.C., November 29, 2007-- Vapiano, a cosmopolitan restaurant and lounge concept serving gourmet pastas, pizzas and salads, announced their partnership with the Brandstand Group today. Dubbed the “Future of Fresh Casual” by Foodservice Europe, Vapiano will work with Brandstand for “Ideal Customer Modeling” and “Trial- Driving” marketing campaigns.
Brandstand is the premier provider of restaurant brand positioning, management and communication strategies in North America. They specialize in helping clients develop and differentiate their brand, align and deliver brand promises and help communicate brand message.

Brandstand has already performed live customer surveys, presented Vapiano with their findings and recommendations and the next year will be spent executing a marketing plan where Brandstand will generate trial and 4-walls marketing.
Vapiano has grown from a single unit to over 30 locations open in only three years. Many of their restaurants can be found throughout Germany, in key markets such as Zurich, Vienna, Istanbul, Budapest, Warsaw-Poland, Stockholm-Sweden, Dubai-Emirates, Jedda & Riad-Saudi Arabia, London, England and now the United States. Vapiano has already opened two corporately owned restaurants in the greater Washington, D.C. area and plans to open ten additional corporately owned restaurants in the same area over the next three years to serve as the launching pad for an aggressive U.S. expansion.
In addition to D.C., Vapiano will be targeting Miami, Chicago, Las Vegas, Atlanta, Boston, New York City and other key markets for corporate expansion and already has a number of prospective franchisees identified for supplementary markets across the country.
